Tour Detail

The route travels in a southern direction through the middle of the South Island crossing two passes, Burkes and Lindis Pass, via the Canterbury Plans and the barren Mackenzie Country and into the more arid central Otago area. From Queenstown and up over the Crown Range and the Haast Pass to the West Coast and back over Arthurs Pass to Christchurch.

Specialized Sirrus touring bike with computer front and rear panniers. Full repair gear. Detailed maps and route information. Accommodation suggestions. Bike upgrade recommended to the Cannondale T2 touring bike for an extra $230.
